Males of Color in Education Awareness Summit, hosted by Lincoln University, Harris Stowe State University and the University of Missouri- Columbia College of Education. The summit will take place Saturday, April 6, 2019 on the campus of Lincoln University.

The overarching theme of the summit is “Inspiring Courageous Conversations Through CHANGE” (Collaboration, Higher Education, Awareness, addressing Needs and Growth that Empowers).

 

High School students, teachers, counselors and administrators; college and university Teacher Education Program students, professors and Deans; state and local officials from across the state of Missouri will be in attendance. The summit will realize its theme through a variety of opportunities designed to foster urgent conversations among stakeholders on the urgency of attracting, supporting and retaining Males of Color in the Teaching Profession.
